We chose Torracia di Chiusi as the place to spend our anniversary during our 2.5 week trip to Europe, and we weren't disappointed. It was everything you imagine for staying in a farmhouse in Tuscany. We stayed for two nights (not long enough!) in a little house right next to the main farmhouse, which was perfect for us. Our room... More

I have always wanted to visit Tuscany and I had a mental image of what to expect based on years of research - Torraccia Di Chiusi and San Gimignano brought that vision alive!!! The property is up a farm track about 4klm from San Gimignano yes its a little out of town but well worth it for the peace and... More

This place is just beautiful and was hands down the highlight of my whistlestop tour through Italy. The B&B is an old farmhouse which was refurbished over three years according to Stefan the owner. It was built on an ancient road which travelers took to get from Rome to Jerusalem and the wine cellar where they age their wine is... More

This agriturismo is at the end of a long gravel road. The bumps are small payment for the excellence found at the end of the road. The rooms are perfect with views of the beautiful Tuscan county side. The restaurant makes excellent use of the local produce. The wines produce and served here are also excellent. More

What a wonderful setting for this fabulous B&B! My husband and I spent a magical evening in the kitchen with Bruno trying to learn simple Italian cooking. We learned so much and turned out a very delicious dinner for 15 guest. It was so much fun and rewarding. Torraccia Di Chiusi will be one of our favorite stops for years... More

Torraccia di Chiusi is the most wonderful B&B I have ever stayed (I'm from the California Wine Country). The location is the central Chianti region, excellent for wine tasting and exploring San Gimignano, Siena, Florence. The B&B is hilltop across the valley from San Gimignano, nestled in the vineyards with a pool over looking the valley, on a quiet dirt... More

Our family of four (Mom + Dad + two young adult daughters) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was lovely to relax in the pool after each active day, and the views from the pool area across the valley to San Gimignano were spectacular. All around were hillsides covered in olive trees, grapevines or forest. A particular highlight of our stay... More

This place is simply gorgeous. It's not a hotel but it is more than a B&B - for example don't expect to head to any bar area to order a drink during the day, there is none. You can have lunch and dinner here though if you let the staff know during breakfast. As the other reviews have stated, the... More

We have the pleasure to stay there for 3 nights in June. After we found the place we did not want to leave. The history and the beauty are something we will remember . We spent 5 days in Amalfi and wish we spent more time here. You have to ask Bruno to make you the local steak, it was... More

Torraccia di Chiusi is about 10 - 15 minutes from the town center. I loved San Gimignano and Torraccia di Chiusi is a fabulous place to stay, because of the hospitality, views (it's on a vineyard & has beautiful grounds) and the dinner & wine was incredible. I highly recommend staying here to experience Tuscany at it's best. More
