This place really is just average. It is close to transport and a very good price. Having a kitchen is a huge bonus as well and the living room is nice. There are just a few too many issues to go along with it. Noise is the big one. There os mo soundproofing at all. You can clearly hear the... More

We stayed here for 8 days and were located on the 5th floor overlooking the parking lot away from the potential noise of the street. Our apartment had not been upgraded as shown in the photos on www.venere.com but were comfortable enough. On the table when we arrived was a little basket of helpful goods to set us on our... More

We went in late October and got amazingly lucky with the weather. We hired bikes from "Florence By Bike". Got a couple of road bikes for €30/day. Absolutely fantastic idea. Able to see "real" Italy. Cycled to Sienna, Fiosole & Impruneta. Just beware that Florence is somewhat in a ditch. Cycling anywhere requires a long slog up some nasty hills.... More

I stayed 2 nights in this hotel in September, 2012. As for the rooms, they look much prettier on the pictures, than in the real life. When you see them, it's hard not to get a somewhat despondent feeling: colours are dark and don't look right togehter, the furniture, surely, has seen better days. But I didn't care much, since... We stayed at Porta Al Prato, during our stay at Florence. It is centrally located and everything at close proximity... But the interiors of this Hotel/studio apartment scared me out. It looked a it haunted to me, though in the day it's all sunny and nice , in the night it's drop dead silent and empty.. For a person like... More

The best thing about this hotel is the location and proximity to public transport. Firenze SMN is only a few hundred metres away. The hotel is only 1 stop and a short walk from the train station on the tram. The electric buses C2 and C3, which are near the tram stop, will take you to Uffizi gallery, and the... More

Me & my wife stayed there 2 nights in une 2012. The room seemed amazing at first: a fuly equipped kitchen, large living room, nice shower, 2 A \Cs, flat TV screen and a terrace. But when you look closer, it's not as attractive as it first seems... The bath thub had a lot of other guest's hair (yuk!), one... More

When I booked hotel I was looking for the high speed Internet. Internet did not work in this hotel. Woman in the reception explained "all italians don';t work in the weekend that is why it is not possible to access to Wi-fi ")))So if you are looking for the Internet book another hotel.
