We chose this hotel, because it had everything we needed, in terms of price, breakfast, and most importantly, free parking. Do not choose this hotel if you want to be in the centre of Florence! You need to take a bus, but it's convenient. Good breakfast spread, nice staff, and beautiful views of the city. The hill is a bit... More

We stayed here 5 nights as part of a two week roadtrip through Italy. We had a gps, but it didn't get us there. We had to ask locals for direction and most of them never heard of the place. One person ended up helping but it was only by chance that we saw the little sign pointing toward a... More

There is almost nothing bad to say about this hotel except it is hard to get into and out of without a vehicle. The staff is wonderfull, the resteraunt nearby is excellent, and the view is just specatular. I stayed at this place almost a year ago and i still remember it fondly despite the 1/4 mile walk up a... It's a great place to stay if visiting the Tuscany area by car. I would only recommend this place if you have your own car as it's on top of a 1mile long windy steep hill. The view from the top is great. The restaurant up top is ok but I prefer the one right at the bottom of the... More

We spent our honeymoon in Firenze, and I wanted to book a romantic hotel. However, it was rather a nightmare. After the first night we noticed some blood spots on our beddings, so we thought the beddings were not washed properly. We recognized each night new blood spots, and had no idea about their origin. After a few nights we... More

Location - ok I booked this off Hotels.com and the address provided was vague and madi it very difficult to find this Hotel. But once we found it we couldn't have been more pleased. The room overlooked the terrace...not a great view - but take a walk around the hotel and the views were phenominal. It is at the top... More

Stayed there for 1 night. The hotel was clean with friendly staff. The breakfast(not complimentary) was good. The beds were clean. The bathroom was tidy with sufficient towels for 3 peple. What we liked the most was the view from our room. The restaurant adjacent to the hotel was excellent with reasonable rates. The only issue was that we had... More

We stayed at the Villa Ambrosina for 7 days in June 2010. We travelled to the Moto GP in Mugello (around an hours scenic drive away). The hotel was clean & well kept. We hired a car and always managed to park even though the parking is limited. We did struggle to find the hotel when arriving. Our sat nav... More

This hotel is only accessible by car. You need to drive from the hotel to a bus parking lot to take the bus into Florence (about 30 mins on bus). The hotel staff was very unfriendly and unhelpful. Our TV did nto work and nobody bothered coming to look at it. The internet in our rooms did not work and... More

We stayed at the hotel for a few nights. The hotel is located about 15=20 minutes from Florence but you have to have a car to get to it. The views from our window were breathtaking and air at night was crisp! Breakfast spread is good. Large bathroom, nice bed. If you want to visit Florence, front desk is more... More
