Stayed just over a week ago , front staff were ok, laptop on room was handy , but fondest memory is of the lovely lady that served us for breakfast, she was a gem. The rooms were good size and clean. Good location off you don't want to be in the thick of it

Direi tutto quello che ci si aspetta da un Hotel. Pulito, confortevole, comodo, e con lo staff veramente gentile. I found everything that you would expect from a hotel. Clean, comfortable, convenient, and the staff really friendly.

The Hotel La Fortezza has comfortable rooms with adequate baths. The room is clean. They are near the train station in Florence and within easy walking distance of the central attractions. La Fortezza hotel is a medium hotel. Beds and showers are not the most comfort but basically it provides what it should. Breakfast is excellent. They also rent a laptop with internet which is a very nice service for those who come with no computer and needs laptop.

The hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the train station and located in a safe neighborhood. It is about a 20 minute walk to Old Town and the Uffizi Gallery but it was worth it to us to have a nice room and save a little bit of money. Just back from a lovely few days in Florence staying at La Fortezza. Perfect location, quiet but handy for city centre, buses and station. Friendly, very clean and comfortable. Only disapponitment was the thin breakfast choices but adequate.
