A very nice and friendly place. Although this B&B is 15 minutes away from the main piazza of Florence, it offers a nice taste of local Florentine lifestyle through its proximity to Piazza Savanorola. During the day the piazza is full of young children playing soccer and lounging seniors while in the evening, the gazebo bar opens and it becomes... More

The room is the cleanest room I have ever stayed (among b&bs). People are very kind and very nice. There is a kind of music relaxing sofa that makes you relaxed after a hard walking day. The breakfast was good and we could use the kitchen. Supermarket is near the b&b so we used to buy something and cook in... More

Found this place on tripadvisor by chance. Was very concerned initially why this place is ranked 121th. After staying here from the 26th June- 29th June 2012. I really feel this place has not been given the credit they deserve. Communicated on email before arrival a month back, I asked Ilaria the owner about directions to her place. She promptly... More

I was at il Piccolo Principe in May for a short stay and I really appreciated the kindness and friendliness of Riccardo and Ilaria. I will go back to this comfortable and quiet little hotel which is placed in a residential area of Florence not too far away from the Duomo. The right spot if you want to enjoy Florence... More

I stayed with my partner at the Piccolo Principe for a weekend travel on Florence. The hotel is on a second floor (american standard) with no elevator. It has four cozy rooms. We were welcomed by Riccardo Ilaria's husband and he was very charm. He gave us the instructions and recommended some restaurants. The room is quite comfortable, it is... More

We were so well taken care of at the Piccolo Principe. Ilaria and her family make you feel like you are in your own home, while providing just the right touches of a B&B. The linens, the pillows, the decorations are all done with style and comfort in mind. The rooms have everything you need and everything is white glove... More

Just wanted to express my deep appreciation for an amazing stay at the Piccolo Principe B&B. I stayed there with our friends for two nights and had a wonderful time. It felt like home although on vacation. It felt very comfortable and relaxing to explore Florence when knowing you have such a cozy and welcoming place to come back to... More

Spacious, quiet two-level rooms with A/C, newly furnished in interesting color combinations. Large roof-top common terrace. Third floor (American) walk-up, no elevator. No free car parking. Since the owner isn't always present, self-service breakfast with professional Italian coffee machine and packaged pastry. Fifteen minutes to city center, some good restaurants in the neighborhood.
