The staff were overall friendly. No excursions arranged. The hotel is badly located.There is absolutely nothing to do or see in the area. The locality is very dirty. People very unfriendly. Very disappointing. I would not recommend it as a area to visit

The only reason we chose this hotel was for the use of the pool. The pool was lovely and empty and we enjoyed lazing by it in the afternoons. The rest of the hotel was awful. The hotel is not near anything of interest so is either a long horrible walk in to ortigia or a 10 euro taxi ride.... More

A grand old hotel slightly neglected with an impressive pool. The room, food and service were ok. The free pre-dinner cocktails were a nice touch. Our only minor complaint is that the wifi only works in the lounge area near reception. Would stay again.

A most comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable time.
