We stayed at the Minareto during the low season (with our 3 yo), it was so lovely and quiet and we were upgraded to a spectacular deluxe room on the top of a cliff line overlooking the sea. We had a private balcony looking across the water to the old city. We had a hire car which made this hotel... More

Very nice location, fantastic view on Ortigia. Very nice service the room /suite was great but ask for a room with sea view, otherwise, no interest Good spot in February when all Europe in under the snow! the weather was great (around 15 degrees celsus) and very few people in the hotel !!! More

I recently stayed at the Grand Hotel Minareto for a conference. The service was excellent, and I can't say enough about the restaurant. The food was excellent and the staff was always pleasant and willing to go out of their way to assure that the client is happy. My room was spacious (deluxe sea view) with a beautiful bathroom, bathrobes... More

First of all: we booked the hotel with an very low price due to off-season so what we received was more the value it costed. However during the high season the price must be higher. As onyl some view person stayed there in Nov, the breakfest was quite moderate, however the staff was very friendly. The swimming pool was closed.... More

We had booked the hotel as the first stop of our 9-day stay in Sicily and ended up staying the whole 9 days. The views were amazing and the hotel room was clean and well-equipped, with expensive materials used in both the bathroom (marble) and the bedroom. The curtains were as they should be and blocked out daylight completely. Just... More

The main attraction of this hotel is the nice location and the beautiful views. Furthermore, all staff was very kind and always ready to help. However, many services are far to be in the range of a 5star de luxe rating. Some of them to comment are: 1.The beach has not any service, like shower or a mini service of... More

The hotel is lcoated in a great area, just facing the ancient isle of Ortigia. The center is easily accessible (shuttle service during the day), but this location allows a great deal of peace... Wonderful service: every need is taken care for and requests are answered with care in really short time. Rooms are confortable and with an impressive view.... More

Just returned from a long weekend stay at the Minareto. The hotel is well situated having its own private sandy beach as well as a private rocky beach. We enjoyed swimming in both as well as the pool. Food is excellent as is typical of the region. The bedroom is in very good condition and the gardens and general areas... More
