The owner of this B&B also has apartments. I did not stay at a B&B room, but rather the apartment next to Castello Ursino, a great location. The apartments are in a very good location, but dirty and poorly maintained. The room rate was good (25EU a night) but I would not return to the apartment. In fact, I left... More

We stayed for 5 nights in the B&B Globetrotter and were very satisfied. Sophia and Jessica were very helpful and even arranged for us to hire a motorbike, and even Eirik who always offered a second cup of coffee or squeezing best sicilian oranges for breakfast. They were very friendly and always making conversations with us about Sicily and Malta.... More

We were flying in from Malta and we received a text message from Sofia asking our arrival time & also with directions how to reach the Globetrotter. The text message told us which bus to get. However upon arrival at Catania airport, we chose to take a taxi. We showed our driver the text message with the address of the... More

We had a fantastic stay at the B&B Globetrotter. With it's perfect locations, friendly and helpful staff, our weekend stay was perfect. The accommodations were priced fairly, the room was clean and the breakfast was substantial. What makes this place SO special is the customer service and the personal relationships that my family and I built with the managers. Thank... More

In the heart of historic Catania, Globetrotter was a breath of fresh air in the bustling and frenetic downtown core. After a long and tiring trip from Asia with many delays and stopovers I was met with great friendliness and helpfulness by the staff at this little gem of a B & B. The room was well equipped and clean... More

Nice, clean and quiet B&B. Very good value for money. Very, very helpful and friendly staff. Ideal hotel for a long weekend/week. My bedroom was very spacious and comfortable. Location is perfect, in the center of town 5 min walk from piazza Duomo. Easy to reach from train station. Overall i'm very pleased with my stay and i would definitely... More

We had a pleasant stay and the B&B team supported us by finding further accomodation at other desitinations in sicily. The atmosphere is friendly and uncomplicated. Nice idea: all guests share one breakfast table, thus you meet other people. It's not easy to find a parking area; better to park near the castle, not far away from the hostel. More

I was in the private single...very large, clean and cosy with ensuite bathroom, air conditioning and TV. Kitchen facilites are available in the breakfast room (breakfast is included in the price). The location is excellent, near the Duomo and the elephant fountain. Staff is very welcoming and helpful. Really reccommended! More

Arrived late on Sept 23/11 after travelling from Vancouver, Canada the day before. There were 3 of us, 55+ in age, excited to return to Italy, but quite tired from a long journey. Not too difficult to find the B&B with help from the bus driver, our GPS and some local youths. The location in this busy city is just... More

Fine for one night, though the triple room is a bit small for three (but we did have a lot of luggage). Well located in the centre of historic Catania. Not easy to find (best to get to the castle then you are very close). Friendly atmosphere over breakfast, but the best bit is the quality of the staff -... More
