We booked through Expedia because of positive reviews and proximity to the train station. We arrived in Catania late at night (10:30pm) and planned to travel the next day. The Hotel La Ville is a nice, comfortable hotel, a few blocks from the city centre, and reasonably priced. It is also near the train station, and at night the streets for about two blocks around look a little intimidating. The staff at the hotel was polite and helpful. We had a very good stay for one night as we arrived Catania. The room was spacius and clean and with out any noise. Breakfast was fine and the staff very friendly. It was easy to walk to the sights of the city. We allready have book our last night in Sicily at this hotel.
