It's up on the slopes of Mt Etna so it was cool at night. Very quiet, lovely setting. Food okay. Very restful. I would definitely go back. Staff very friendly and helpful. It's on the way to Etna Sud which is helpful to those hiking the mountain. Go into S Maria de Licodia or Bellepasso

Le Cisterne is a beautiful place. And the people are very friendly, and speak english. Food is good and it's just a very relaxing place to stay, rooms are nice and clean. We definitely recommend it highly to stay here for a couple of days and visit the Etna.
