I have to take issue with the earlier reviews regarding transportation. While the hotel is not in Verona proper, access from the train station and into the city is very easy. Buses run, at a maximum interval of 20 minutes from just outside the hotel into the city. They're fast and clean and accessible. No need to walk into town... More

PROS: It was a lovely hotel with a good breakfast. They also provided a shuttle to and from downtown Verona which was great since we went and saw Romeo and Juliet. Air conditioning in the rooms, elevators worked. CONS: I thought it was a very close walk to the train station but it was not!!! If you had minimal luggage... More

We stayed in Hotel San Pietro for one night in July 2011. We had bought tickets for Aida in the Arena Theatre for the night. The hotel was good, the only difficulty was finding it outside the city (the GPS is to be blamed here) The service was good, especially the shuttle service to the arena and back. !5 minutes... More

We stayed at this hotel for one night, 19 people on our party. We left this hotel and forgot a few things in two of the hotel rooms. Among other items there was an expensive electronic book -(color NOOK). We called as soon as it was possible, after we had left the hotel, when we realized we had left these... More

The hotel is very nice, clean and it looks quite new. It has a free parking. very good quality-price ratio. The bad thing, it is around 1-2 km from the center and there are no restaurants or shops in the surroundings. To go to the center, the best option is by car, although I think the hotel has free bycicles.... More

This hotel is very much in the wrong side of the tracks. To get from here to the center old Verona on foot you have to walk past empty industrial zones, under highway overpasses and under a railway bridge. This takes about 30 minutes but wold be very unpleasant after dark. The rooms are modern and clean WiFi is not... More

My husband and I stay here for one night after getting the train to Verona from Milan where we had spent a few nights. The hotel isn't in the centre of town but that really doesnt matter, it is just around the corner from the train station which is very handy. The bus stop is right outside and the bus... More

Internet connection via wireless is also sporadic. Rooms are clean, showers hot and the breakfast has good variety and quality. Old town Verona about a 20 minute walk on a busy street. More

Stayed two nights and did the opera. Spacious modern room and bathroom, though short 3/4 size bath. Fridge (empty), but no kettle. Good quality and choice for breakfast, though no hot stuff. Car park. No restaurant so you have to dine out in the evenings. The one and a half mile walk to the centre is O.K., and was a... More

It is a hotel which is great for a business visit since it is close to the fair. The hotel personnel will tell you that the city centre is just 10 mins....not true it is far from that and you would need a car. The rooms are ok but the employees are really unfriendly. One other thing is that we... More
