We looked at the website and prior to booking at the San Lio Tourist house and were very excited about what we saw from the photos. The hotel check in isn't at the actual accommodation location so was a bit hard to find. Once we were given the keys to our room we were so shocked. The room was tiny!!...... More

We stayed in Rm #106 which looked exactly like in the photos and was very clean, probably the cleanest spot we stayed in Italy! However, a big downfall to staying here is the noise from the street below and the from the door slamming as people go in & out of the guest house. There is a pizza joint across... More

From our entire Italy stay, this was definitly the worst 'hotel' we stayed at (but yet they charge over 100 euros a night? ridiculous!) We stayed at the Bruna room and I was fooled by the pictures as when we got there, the room was so small we could hardly fit 2 suitcases and it was barely a double room.... More

We stayed here for a week. We booked one of the economy rooms and were sorely disappointed when we got there. It was small, dark and poorly furnished. As soon as we got there we rang the reception to see if we could upgrade the room as it would have dampened a lovely holiday to stay in that room. We... More

As other reviewers said, its a little hard to find, but all in Venece its not easy to find the first time. The room is small but you have all that you need and it is really clean. The bed was really confortable. The location is very good, it is near by the rialto bridge for the vaporeto stop.

I stayed with my girlfriend in hotel for two nights. Its difficult to find check-in building so get a map or mobile navigation. The hotel is on good position; restaurants and others shops are close. We had double room - bad was double but probably two single together because in the middle was hole. Room was small but nice. Bathroom... More

Like others have mentioned, you have to check in a separate location, but that was no problem and the clerk spoke very good English. He was able to direct us to the San Lio and it was a very short walk (1 or 2 minutes). The room (rm 103) was very nice looking but the bed took up >75% of... More

This hotel was difficult to find. Have to go around the block to another place to check in and out. The room was not like those shown in the photos that the hotel displays. Some of the rooms do appear to be like those in the pictures, however ours had out dated decor. The television did not work properly (kept... More

Like everyone else it was hard to find and you actually go to another hotel to check in.The staff were helpful and efficient. We were given a nice room (106) which was over a shop that played load music until 10:30 at night very hard to sleep. Asked if we could move and we got the Matilda room quite and... More

This is a quirky little hotel. The room itself was plenty big (we booked a double), the bathroom was tiny but clean and everything worked (water pressure and temperature), you have to pay for the internet but it works well and you really cannot beat the location. It’s very close to good restaurants, fun bars and some of the major... More
