We stayed at this hotel 3 yrs ago and were upgraded to a Superior Room. It was lovely and spacious and we were delighted with it. This time we booked a Superior Room and we were shocked to be shown to a very small room. I went to reception, round the corner at the Savoia e Jolanda and was told... More

We stayed in this lovely little gem for a few nights in November. The staff really couldn't have been more helpful. Our room was a bit on the small side but lovely, cosy and clean- we had a balcony looking onto a courtyard with a little fountain right outside our window. The location is amazing, just a few minutes from... More

My wife and I stayed at Villa Igea during our honeymoon in Italy. The good news is that the room was clean and the location was amazing just a couple of minutes from St Marks Square. That said, the room was small and the bathroom and shower were even smaller. We weren't thrilled with Igea but it was decent enough. More

This is the second time i have stayed at the Villa Igea, but the first since it has been taken over by the larger Savoia and Jolanda hote. It was still as lovely, tucked away literally two minutes walk from the San Zaccaria vappareto stop. As it was out wedding anniversary they upgraded us to one of the larger rooms... More

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in November. It is a "sister" hotel to the bigger one on the water. It was clean and the rooms were good size. They do not have a guard or anyone in the building so you have to use your key card to get in the building. It was safe -... More

Very small quiet luxurious room. Breakfast is at sister hotel (very close) and has a big variety (scrambled eggs are way to oily). Nice to sit outside during the summer and look out onto the Grand Canal. At waterbus station and easy to find. Very good location next to the San Zaccaria square (very expensive around this area though) and... More

Villa Igea is a lovel hotel. As mentioned in other reviews, you check in at the Savoia around the corner from Campo San Zaccaria, where the reception staff is very friendly and happy to give reccomendations. This is also where a very nece breakfast buffet is served for guests of both hotels each mornng. The location is excellent. It is... More

We stayed for 2 nights at Villa Igea and were very happy with the hotel. The room was immaculate and well furnished in Venetian style, the bathroom was pretty small (extremely small shower!) but had everything you needed. The bed was very comfortable with lovely bed linen. The reception for Villa Igea is at the 4* Hotel Savoia and Jolanda... More

We stayed here in August 2011 for three nights. It was very close to the water taxi stop so very little schelpping of bags. However, it was on a small piazza (San Zaccharia) with a beautiful church so it was quiet. There is no front desk in the hotel proper but at its sister hotel close by. This is not... More

We found this hotel very easy to locate - from the San Zaccaria water bus stop you will see the Savoia and Jolanda Hotel and to the right a small arch leading down a lane. The hotel is down the lane on the left across from the church. Great location - The hotel is situated in a quiet campo (courtyard)... More
