On business and some of my colleagues were staying here so I booked a room here as well. Two of the three members of staff on 24hr reception were a bit weird and grumpy and the third one was a very pleasant & down to earth chap. The room I had is very impressive and good bathroom too, although the... More

This hotel is a bit hard to find - its own website map was incorrect: after getting off the vaporetto (no 42 I think) you need to turn right and look for the entrance to the correct street, which is between the Farmacia sign and the Gamgam restaurant. I agree that the breakfast was not very worthwhile, but at least... More

My wife and I spent five nights at the Locanda. We were extremely happy with the room and location. Neither could be faulted. But there was a palpable sense of disatisfaction amongst many of the guests. This expressed itself in the Guest Book as a variety of complaints about the Kosher Continental Breakfast which was bordering on the niggardly. Basically,... More

We stayed at the Locanda and found the location and room great! Very close to train/bus station and plenty of great little authentic bars near one of the canals, very close by. Room was nicely made up; great bathroom and comfy beds. Problems however occured when we realised the amount of mosquitoes which were in the room. We hunted them... More

We had planned to stay at the hotel for 3 nights. Upon arrival we soon realized that the hotel room was far from what was advertised, tiny cramped room with not even a shower door or curtain. The management treated us like garbage with absolutely no sense of customer service. “You get what you pay for” is what we were... More

My wife and I along with 1 other couple stayed here from a Fri. until Mon. The rooms were more than adequate, the breakfast was good for a European breakfast. I would definately stay there again. It was a quiet location, steps from a Vaporetta and a good shopping area. More

Locanda del Ghetto as the name suggests is in Ghetto Nuovo in Venice. We visited at the busiest time in July, festival on Saturday night, massive crowds in all the top spots. Each time we returned to the Campo (Campo del Gheto) we were immediately relaxed by the calmness of the place. Plenty of groups of school kids trooping through... More

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights while visiting Venice. To begin with - it is close to the train station when dragging your luggage through the cobblestoned calles and over bridges. It is also very close to the boat to the airport. Our room was large, clean, and overlooking the small canal in the back.... More
