Great location, easy walk to main attractions. Considering the high accommodation prices in Venice, very please with the price and hotel facilities. Very clean, well decorated with an excellent bathroom! Staff friendly and welcoming, offering us a choice of rooms. Wifi services, bar fridge and 24 hr reception. Would stay here again and would highly recommend!

Locanda Sant'Agostin is a sweet hotel within walking distance of the center of town, perfect for any kind of trip. We were treated very well and we were very pleased with our room. We stayed in one of the least expensive rooms, on the same floor as the reception and breakfast place, which bothered us at first, but actually didn't... More

Stayed in this small hotel for three nights in March 2013. As others reviews already say, the service was really excellent, e.g. we did get rain boots for my girlfriend when there was aqua alta so she could jump around St.Mark's square while everyone else was using and queueing on the wooden ramps. I can't blame them for not having... More

I took my 13 year old son to Venice for 3 days and this calm and very clean hotel was the perfect place to return in the evening. Everyone who worked there was friendly, multilingual and helpful. We could walk to everywhere and the hotel map was useful. I was amazed to read the negative comment as my son was... More

My husband and I stayed in this hotel in March 2013. We arrived in the evening and received a warm welcome. We ate at the restaurant a few yards from the hotel, which was good food and good value. The hotel is situated in a quiet but accessible part of Venice, away from all of the crowds but within easy... More

My family and I stayed in this hotel during our trip to Venice in December 2012. The staff were helpful in recommending to us places to visit, suggested good restaurants and also advised us on the best ticket to get around Venice and its surrounding islands using the water bus. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the price was... More

Great location, 5 minutes from Rialto, 15 minutes on foot from railway station and about 20 minutes to piazza di Roma where you take bus to airport. We arrived to Venice by train quite late so closest to railway station was very important. Chambermaid Eugenia waited for us and put heat in our room in advance so we weren't cold... More

Agreed with every single negative comments here, the staff, especially the owner is terribly arrogant. In the heart of Venice neighborhood, where it is most likely for a tourist to get lost, far from everything. Have no idea how to find it without the help of our guide. Basically, you can not reach any touristy spots without 30 minutes walk.20... More

Do not expect a room looking into a canal even to see the sunshine. Because of narrow streets, you room will most probably look at the near building. It's a small hotel with a peacefull staff and located in a central place. The street of hotel is calm and quite. It is 5 mins. walking away from Rialto Bridge, and... More

The Locanda Sant'Agostin is located in the geographical center of the city at just 5-10 minutes walk from every interest point; from here it is not necesary to take the expensive waterbus: an easy walk bring you everywhere. The Locanda is situated in an authentic, lively district that is home totypical trattorias, traditional "bacari", well-known restaurants, goldsmiths' workshops, wine bars and artisan's workshops. This district is flanked by several cafes and typical "bacari", which serve the traditional "Spritz" aperitif. The elegant Locanda Sant'Agostin is located in the rooms of the Piano Nobile of a Sixteenth Century patrician palazzo, and is the result of careful restoration work. Finesse and intimacy can be seen in every detail: the parquet flooring with its warm colours, the Murano glass, the stucco cornices and the leaded glass.Staying in one of Venice's Locanda means choosing an intimate and friendly ambience, without compromising on style. ... more   less
