Hi I stayed at Bed and Breakfast ( Casa di Chiara ) for more than a week in January , 2013. I like to inform other guests that both Chiara and Sergio are very good people. They are friendly and know the art of welcoming guests. Bathroom is very clean ( although shared by other people ) . Breakfast is... More

A nice, quiet place that is very close to the center of Padova. Chiara is a very enthusiastic person and likes to give you advice for your stay. She speaks English well. Bikes, the best means of transport in this small city, are included in the price. Even if they are not of a high qualitiy, this is a great... More

The flat is clean, and the rooms are well-presented, and we cannot fault the hostess there. On that level, the place was what we were expecting. Chiara is knowledgeable, and her English is excellent. But one other review on this site echoed our own concerns: throughout our stay, the hostess was dressed in a small camisole and silk shorts that... More

Firstly, Padua is not a very big city, and this B&B is pretty central. Personally speaking, I don't think that Padua really has a "centre". It may just be my impression. You can walk to the B&B provided that you don't have an army of suitcases with you. A backpack is fine. I knew nothing about Padua before I arrived... More

Just after one day's visit, Chiara is like a sister to us; she is really friendly, smart and down to earth. She clearly loves her home town and gave us excellent local suggestions and helped us enjoy Padua for the brief time we were there. We even shared a bottle of wine together and stayed up late chatting about life.... More

During our six week holiday, Chiara was by far the most helpful and friendly hostess we enjoyed, and that's saying a lot, because all of them were very nice. She majored in English in university, so for English speakers, it's great to have an Italian we could really communicate with at depth. She really went far and above the usual... More

Honestly, I didn't know what to expect from a B&B, so I was very surprised and impressed. Chiara is really kind and helpful, provides everything you need: maps, tips and tricks, timetables, etc. Her place is safe, stylish and every room has its own atmosphere. I liked her coffee cups and the mirror in my room. :) You can talk... More

I have stayed in Casa di Chiara for 4 days. I must say that it was very nice staying. Chiara is very open and friendly person and it was really nice to meet her. What is important she speaks English so we could communicate to each other. She gave me some hints what to do and what is worth to... More

For three days I was trying to book this place for me and my friend. Sent all needed information immediately, but still wasn't granted a bed. 2 months prior to arrival. Then I heard "no problem" and "of course". Today I have received a mail saying "unfortunately" someone else booked my place for the same period of time. Good luck!"... More

Hallo Grzegorz I'm sorry you won't be a guest with us. I wish you could have stayed here and enjoyed our hospitality. I think what happened was just a booking misunderstanding. Actually, I must point out something incorrect you wrote: I never wrote to you “of course” and “no problem” and never confirmed your booking. I just asked you to... More

I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I booked a week's stay at this new bed and breakfast, but on arrival I was pleasantly surprised. The apartment itself is just outside the historic centre of Padova, so within minutes you can be at Galileo's Observatory, Prato della Valle or Via Roma. At the same time, therefore, the apartment is... More
