Great hotel in the middle of Turin, very well appointed and decorated, service second to none.. One downside is the layout if you are in Golden 2 you have to go to first floor walk along a maze of corridors and take another lift! Nothing fency but a good ratio quality /price and service for Italy (about EUR 200 per night, prepaid, not refundable). The hotel is very central and easy to reach with a parking (EUR 30 per day). Had just arrived from 4 nights at the Grand Hotel Savoia in Genoa and so the dark modern feel of the Golden Palace didn't really appeal. When we arrived (7pm) we thought we'd use the spa for an hour before going out - there were no towels left and got the distinct impression that they were hoping to close early....

Excellent 5* hotel in Turin with reasonablr room price. Good central location. The staff wasvery helpful. Teh room was equipped with all modern facilities. The only drawback is that there is no coffee machine in the room.

the Golden Palace is the sister hotel to the Grand Sitea. It is in a very good location near the san carlo piazza (similar to the Sitea) and is a good value at less than 200 eur for a nice modern double room. If you have a choice I would opt for the Sitea, its on a more interesting street...
