Dear Guest, from what i read in your review, you must have stayed in the Liquiritiam room. It's true that three of our rooms, facing the intern court, have access from a long balcony that we call "ballatoio".. which is quite tipical for us. It's generally added in the old buildings, Medieval Palace in our case, cause at the origin people used to pass room to room. If you're not used to, i can understand you must have felt unconfortable with this. We have just one room with a balcony, the Cacao room, in the other side of the house. Your opinion on here been "dusty, very old and tired" surprises me a lot... First of all, cause the cleaning it's the most important thing for us!! And secondly, because old and antique never seemed tired to me! But it's a matter of taste. Free Wi-Fi is not so common in italy, and we're very proud on giving this service to our guest. As the wall are very thick (40/60 cm) we still have problems... but we added another router a couple of weeks ago, so now the signal is better. I'm surprised you didn't apreciate our breakfast, but i can't understand your judgment of a non existing breakfast!... We generally provide on putting on the table: - artisanal "fette biscottate" (which may look like a hard bread, but it isn't! and bought in the best "patisserie" of the city) - various artisanal biscuits - 2 or 3 different flavour of homemade jam - fresh seasonal fruit - yogurt - dry fruit (nuts, almonds, hazelnuts) - fruit juice - water On demand, butter (as we consider it a "delicate" product, better conserved in the fridge) and for the ones who prefer salty breakfast, bread and cheese. - coffee, cappuccino or tea... at your will! you just need to ask. So, sorry if i may have been distracted not asking you if you wanted some more. Regards.
