Very clean, comfortable bed, friendly, helpful staff. Location not great. It is in a middle-class leafy suburb (Zara) of Milan, and you have to wander through a maze of streets to find the tram that will take you to the subway (yellow line) that gets you to the Duomo. The taxi driver got lost trying to get there. I stayed there because it was Milan Design Week and the cheapest hotel I could find at 200 euros a night. The young woman at the desk later informed me that everyone was charging 3 times the usual rate. It you do the math, you will see that the usual rate is a little less than 70 euros a night. I would recommend it for travelers on a budget who either have a car, or don’t mind the adventure of finding their way around!

We stayed at Cipriani for two nights this september. The place is situated pretty far from city center but in peaceful and quite location with private inner yard, exactly what we wanted. The room was small but neat and clean. Breakfast wasn't the strong side of this place, frankly. What we liked the most were late evenings in the courtyard with a glass of wine and funny talk.

This is a basic b and b with not basic b abd b prices. We stayed here after forced delay. It was next door to a building site.Builders could see into our bathroom as no curtains on the window. No hot water in the evening. Breakfast was meagre. horrid cornflakes and warm sterilised milk. Coffe was god thou. Croissants longlife prepacked. Room old fashioned and dingy. 20 minute bus ride from the central station in Milan but only 1 euro each way.

We had to spend a night in Milan on our way to Rome by car. The hotel was booked on the same day, and had everything we needed for a very low price of only 40 Euros a night! Pros: Great price! The room was very clean, shower and toilet in the room! Breakfast was included in the price, and it was small but had enough variations. Cable TV, Private Parking for our car (only 2 spots for the hotel), and most important: FREE WI-FI in the room! Cons: The double bed was actually 2 single beds, and they were not attached to each other. I found myself sleeping in a gap in the morning.

Price was very good! Around 55 Euros for a double room Rather easy to take tram into central Milan (buy tickets at local tobacco shops or similar), ask staff were nearest station is (I think it took me 5-10 minutes walk) Friendly and helpful staff! They have AC and wireless internet! We had a room with a private WC and shower which I recommend One of the best value for money B&B/hotels I have stayed at during my 3 week trip in central europe
