Me and my husband stayed in this hotel for a few days. There are some nice places to see in Mantova, the lake behind the station opposite the hotel is gorgeous, we enjoyed an afternoon stroll along the lake. We also took in some architectural buildings which led us to shopping, great shops there, clothes food, books, shoes etc. More

The room was very very (etc.) noisy because the rooms facing an interior courtyard or to the railway station! Mantova is beautiful, but please choose another hotel to get there! More

We booked one night in this hotel through Expedia for $98.96 (USD). This hotel is very convenient for rail travel, right across from the train station. The hotel was quite busy and understaffed and one of those places that seem clean on first viewing, but then look closer and eewwww...... The front desk was a mess, with the same staff... More

Very ugly hotel rooms, everything cheap and horrible and rundown, institutional furniture from the 80s at best, terrible acoustics - is the sort of hotel that will actually provide rooms to a busload of second graders, so you can imagine what sort of standards they have overall. To say it was intolerable for everyone else is an understatement. No good... More

Most of the rooms face a seemingly very quiet L shaped inner courtyard (with table and chairs). The problem is there is a 24 hour bar connected to that courtyard, and you are right across from the train station. A group of very loud guests kept me up late that night, until the night staff finally ordered them to quiet... More

Very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Staff were welcoming and friendly and our room was clean, bright and very comfortable, with decent beds and an excellent shower in the bathroom. A broken bedside light was fixed immediately. Breakfast was self-service and there was plenty of choice. The location, opposite the main station, could have been worrying, but wasn't, no matter... We stayed at this hotel for two nights during a tour of this region of Italy. While this is a serviceable hotel, I was very disappointed by many details of the hotel. It is quite rundown and it has a bit of a depressing mood about it. Everything is done in the cheapest manner possible. For example: The towels were... More

Now I've got to say that I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. What you get for a 3* in Italy can vary an awful lot and this, in my opinion, was a very decent one. Easy to find by car or train as it's opposite the train station. Our room, at €75, was very large, with a big... More
