Called Cinzia about one week ahead of time and booked a room. Parking was a little difficult but Cinzia greeted us by the street to help us back the car into a private garage parking spot. Ensure you reserve a parking space beforehand as I believe there is only one. After walking to the hotel, we were greeted with a... More

We termed the review excellent location as it wasnt really that far to walk from the B&B to the waterfront. I think it only took about 15 minutes and we were taking in the sights on the way. Also there was a very good restaurant called Fuori Orario 50 m further up Via Palestro on the left. We also counted... More

My husband and I loved this B&B. It is very pretty and has a spic-and-span level of cleanliness. Located in a quiet neighborhood, it is well off the street thanks to the 59 or so steps to the front door. (There is another way to get to the front door from a pedestrian walkway to the east. You go along... More

This is a wonderful place to stay. Our room was quite gorgeous. The B & B is in a lovely part of town, quiet and residential. Bit of climb up to it from the waterfront so as with most places in Italy we advise to travel super light. We managed well on 1 10kg backpack with wheels and a tiny... More

Great B&B, with clean & nice rooms. Breakfast is really delicious & owner very kind & helpful. Location is very convenient, 5-10 min away from downtown. If you look for good quality at reasonable price, don't hesitate. Moreover, staying in Genova represents good alternative if you want to visit the Cinque Terre. More

This B&B was the favourite out of all the places we stayed in our 4 week trip to Europe! The room was so luxurious, with a huge bathroom. The decor was very elegant and modern, and the bed supremely comfortable. The owners of the B&B were so friendly and helpful, and did whatever they could to help make the most... More

We had a great experience at Il Salotto di Lucilla. We chose the small double room which was pretty small but it was beautiful & clean & had everything that we needed. Located in an upmarket area of Genoa, which was very pleasant, & an easy walk into centre/old town & from the Brignole train station (do note the many... More

Room confirmed a week before but after driving to Genova, Lucilla never answered the door or her cell phone and didn’t return my call or email. I guess it must not have been convenient for her. More

I was really surprised by the excellent quality of this charming B&B. It is sparkling clean, ideally located, and very comfortable. The owner is very welcoming, yet discrete, and I felt like I was staying at a good friend's home. I highly recommend it. More

We couldn't fault the location of this elegant, well appointed apartment close enough to the centre of Genoa to easily be able to walk in yet far enough away to avoid the noise of the traffic. We were so pleased that we had decided to stay there rather than in an hotel as it was so self contained that it... More
