The hotel is clean, the staff is very helpful and the location is excellent. It is more a 3 stars than a 4 stars however, so you should try to get a low fare. I had one, so it was definetely worth what I paid for.

This hotel does not want to be what they are not, which is a top hotel.
It is a simple hotel with cozy and clean rooms. Staff is the best this hotel has. Very attentious and sympathetic people we dealt with while staying there.
Breakfast is something they really need to improve as reposition of the items being consumed was...

This hotel is very well located although this may be one of the few positives about it. However in saying this I think my view of the hotel is subjective because there was no air conditioning for the two nights we stayed. Being the middle of August and quite hot it was very uncomfortable to sleep. I would not recommend...

This was probably the easiest hotel we have ever stayed at to find. Straight off train, straight ahead to the left. It was also a good location to explore the port and walk to the cruise ship terminal. Although if you are older maybe take a taxi as the cobbles and a bit of a hill may be an issue...

Soon as I got to my room aircon wasn't working, tried adjusting the controls nothing happened. Reception said there was a problem expected to be fixed in a few days, I was not pleased. Receptionist gave me a fan which was OK until you went to sleep then it was too noisy. Later saw printed notice in English/ Italian by...

We stayed here with my parents for 4 nights in June, having got the train down from Turin. The hotel is at the 'train station' end of Via Balbi, literally a 2 minute walk from the station exit.
Check in was easy and we had rooms next door to each other. However, the air conditioning was not working for our...

I stayed there for a night. The room was dirty and old. I report issues below:
room phone not working
no air conditioning
no hand soap
very old television with no digital channel
old and uncomfortable bed
noisy room
a single working elevator for the whole building
queue at the reception
no room safe locker
no cups and cutlery at...

After staying at this hotel I cannot understand some of the negative commentts that have been posted previously.
On my arrival I was given access to my room right away despite the fact that I had arrived early (1pm).
The receptionist was very helpful and pleasant. The corridors leading to the bedrooms are a bit of a rabbit warren but...

Right near the train station, location very convenient to all amenities.
Clean room, polite and helpful service. However would not recommend genoa itself as a place to visit for a relaxing holiday.
Would go to Milan or cinque terre santamargherita ligure areas before this place. Having wharf and old harbour pirate history makes this place a little rough around the...

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The purpose of my trip was a conference and I could have booked a more expensive hotel. But I hoped a 4* hotel, even at 65 euro/night would keep its rank.
However, first surprise came before entering the hotel: the hotel was literally in front of the station, on via Balbi, which...
