Good location (may be a 10 min enjoyable walk to Piazza Maggiore) on a quite street. Yes there is a sex shop right next door but it is not what you may think… neighborhood is perfectly safe.

Rooms are small (room 30 over looking the small court yard) and the bath is okay size with a small stall shower. Need... More

My partner and I and our two dear friends stayed at the Zanhotel il Canale in Bologna. The customer service (especially Giovanna) was very good. The hotel's location is a bit out of the way but you'll find yourself at the train station in minutes or major sites after a good walk. The rooms are small, the beds are very... More

I had visited this hotel a few years ago and I really liked it so on my last visit to Bologna I decided to stay there. The hotel is ok, but it really needs some maintainence, the carpet is not as fresh as it used to be for instance. Our room had a nice view, but it was really dark... More

We sayed here for four nights. The location is perfect, it's a 7 minute walk to the center of the city and the hotel is surrounded with very nice restaurants. If you like to stay in small hotels then this one is perfect and for a reasonable price. Service is excellent and you can get a lot of information about... More

Location is just a few blocks from Piazza Maggiore, within walking distance from the train station if you don't have too much luggage (or a cheap cab ride). Desk clerk was very helpful, even pointed out that the 5 of us could save money hiring a cab to take us to the airport rather than taking the Aerobus from the... More

An average hotel at an ideal location. Had a nice stay in this hotel. Friendly service. A good bed, large bathroom with a shower. Breakfast is limited but ok. More

The rooms are extremely spacious, the bed was comfortable enough and overall the "living/sleeping" area was a pleasant surprise (with black-out curtains!). The bathroom was spacious as well, with a sink and mirror area in one section separated by a door to the rest of the bathroom facilities. We weren't aware before arriving that our room would have a standing... More

The cleanliness in the public areas of the hotel was poor. The breakfast room needs to be improved, it was situated in cellar and the guests have to go through stores to find it.Receptionist had to make breakfast service and reception More

When we were first shown our room we did a bit of a double take as it was very very orange. But once we had recovered from the colour shock, we were quite impressed with the size of the room and the bathroom. Very comfortable and clean. The windows open out onto the canal which is quite picturesque and worth... More
