The rooms were small bathroom even smaller but i hear thats common with most hotels but for the price you cant beat it. The complimentary breakfast was amazing! That alone is worth staying here. The location was also amazing, a little loud at night but i didnt care. staff was also friendly and helpful. More

Honestly, the location cannot be beat! When you walk out the front door, you are in the Piazza di Spagna. Our receptionist was a very nice, friendly and helpful girl. A spectacular view of the Spanish Steps from our window. Our room was very tight for three. Clean but definitely dated. Could use a makeover with the bedspreads and curtains.... More

We really enjoyed the fact that breakfast was included in the price of the room. The location is wonderful--the Spanish steps are 2 minutes away, and there is a metro stop nearby that can take you anywhere else in the city. We were a little disappointed that there was no wifi, but they did have free internet hook-up in all... More

A great location to be in Rome. The view was marvelous overlooking the historic Spanish Steps. Tourists would be jealous to stay here. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms were quite dated and could be cleaner. Linens were clean, so that was good. Bathroom was tiny, again very dated, but functional. Having ensuite in a Rome hotel is lucky, so I... More

My wife and I enjoyed a second honeymoon in Rome (20 years after honeymooning in Rome and travelling Italy). The rooms are kinda worn but comfortable and reasonably priced (compared to other hotels in Rome). The feature attraction was the location -- makes walking to nearby sights easy. Great shopping and resturants. Loved the 160-year-old espresso bar a block away.... More

Good location (metro station is next to hotel, you can walk to really very nice places, etc.), good staff (polite, helpful), clean rooms, good breakfast, good view, good sound insolation (spanish steps is really crowded and noisy beginning early in the morning ending late at night, but we slept like babies, AC was working in sleep mode, quiet, refreshing, cooling).... Views from the room onto the Spanish Steps - small personal space with individualized attention. People were warm, friendly and very helpful with suggestions. Breakfast (roll selection, juices and several coffee varieties) was wonderful. This was a part of the culture and history-- not just some hotel. Rome Free Tour leaves 50 feet away - shopping everywhere! More

Our stay in Rome was for approximate 1 week. The location of this accommodation was perfect. The unfortunate part however the apartment was not as advertised and minor maintenance not attended to eg light bulbs not working. This ad has now been amended however I am still awaiting a part refund/reimbursement for the washing machine that was not in the... More

There are many nicer hotels in Rome, but few if any have the view and overall great location like spiagna view. This is an old, maybe 3 star hotel, but it’s all about what you’re looking for. Open your window and there are the Spanish steps (amazing!!!) walk to the Coliseum, Pantheon, Cesar’s Palace and much much more….. Including the... More
