Stayed here on a solo trip to Rome. This is a good place to start your visit, central location. It was clean, comfortable and had a restaurant/ bar downstairs. I liked it here but was not overly impressed. It was a comfortable place to stay but I wonder if there were friendlier places where it might have been easier to... More

The hostel was highly rated by reviewers thanks to it's "thriving" bar, but the bar was kind of dead most of the time and it's not the key factor that should make you choose this hostel. Price was good, although some mistakes of the receptionists during the check-in process almost made us pay extra 22 euros for no reason. The... More

Pros : 5 min walk from Termni Station, Rooms and Toilets clean, helpful staff, free iPad rentals, felt safe & secure, bar onsite so it easy tor meet other backpackers. Good bed price - 17.50 per-night (euro). Most importantly : Good Vibe!! Cons : One plug in 6 bed dorm, didn't seem to be many bars/much happening in the local... More

Me and a girlfriend made The Yellow our first stop on our euro trip (May 2011). We found this place easily (for two women navigating for the first time in Italy)..only 5 min walk from termini which was ideal. The vibe seemed to change every night as it all depended on who was passing through. Our first day there, we... More

Really enjoyed the staff, location, prices, conditions, but having a lounge would have been nice. They just have a noisy bar that made it difficult to take a load off. More

I was pretty pleased by this hostel, was expecting a lot less security but that was not the case. Good location, good prices at the bar downstairs, only a 5 min walk from Termini(the main train station). At night it's packed with young people, so it might get a bit loud if u're looking to rest really well. Other than... More

The hotel yellow is a really hip joint. A lot of young travelers hanging out everywhere. Might be a good place to meet people The rooms are just your basic hostel style rooms. Bunks and bathrooms are clean enough. Had a good time. More

Good location for a hostel in Rome, with it being just a short 5 min walk from central train station. Directions to hostel were bang on and had no trouble finding it. You could hire ipads for use at the hostel which we thought was a really cool idea, each day for the first 30 mins it is free. Got... More
