Wonderful stay! We (2 couples, budget travelers) spent 3 nights here in mid-October 2011. The website does a good job of describing the B&B and the benefits of its location, but cannot convey the enthusiasm of Ruggero. He will do everything possible to make your stay memorable. Visiting the Vatican was at the top of my list, which made this... More

There is so much I could say-the other wonderful reviews have already said much of it...so I will ECHO the excellent reviews. It felt so good to pay Ruggero and his family directly instead of a large hotel chain. The unique experience I had was on the middle day of our trip, I became ill with a 24 hour bug.... More

Although I did not stay at AGV 2001, I still want to say a special thanks to Ruggero and his family. My daughter and 12 year old Grandson spent several nights at the B&B. Ruggero not only stayed in contact with my daughter, but also with me when he could not reach my daughter, who was touring Germany. He made... More

This was the perfect location to stay in Rome! We were just blocks away fro the vatican. Ruggero and his family were so hospitable and warm. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to see the best parts of Rome. Ruggero was so helpful in showing us the best way to get from point A to B. Delicious... More

I cannot say enough good things about Ruggero, the owner of AGV. He made us feel so welcome and gave us fantastic ideas for things to see and places to eat. As another reviewer mentioned, he gave us a map every day with places to go and the best way to get there. He also was willing to call and... More

3 Nights in the heart of Roma were spent happily in this B&B. Ruggero is an excellent source of information and was at pains to be as helpful as possible! The room was functional but homely and just what we were looking for. You're a short walk from the Vatican and everywhere else is easily accessible - although I might... More

My husband and I spent 4 wonderful nights in Rome, and Ruggero gave us such a warm welcome even with our late arrival close to midnight after a long flight delay. He was a wonderful host, dedicating special time and attention to each of his guests and sharing awesome travel tips and personalized recommendations. AGV definitely exceeded our expectations for... After our second stay with Ruggero we have been able to confirm our experience with him. Great location, quiet area, close to Metro A, Cipro and Vatican Museum, which is very convenient since it is good to be there early. But any other sight can be reached easily by the close by metro or bus. Perfectly friendly and helpful host,... More

I stayed at AGV during my 4 day trip to Rome, and very glad that I chose this BnB from the rest... I highly appreciate how warm I was welcomed by Ruggero, and gave me a quick tips and tricks with the busses and trains. The place was highly recommended for budget travellers like me and the safetiness of the... More

My husband and I and another couple stayed here for four nights at the beginning of September. It was extremely hot weather and we were grateful for the air conditioning. The rooms are simple, but very clean and you couldn't ask for a better location, a stones throw from the Vatican. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were quiet.... More
