The staff was incredibly professional. The food is excellent. We held our wedding at this venue and could not have asked for anything more. The only downside is that it isn't easy to find, and taxis to and from the city centre can add up, however if you're willing to stay on site and enjoy their spa, pool, and restaurant,... More

the castle was simply the loveliest place we've ever stayed at. it was great not so much in terms of luxury or facilities, but in terms of its beauty and sense of history. every little corner was a lovely surprise - whoever restored the castle and decorated it did a marvellous job. unfortunately we have to discount our rating by... We loved it! The staff was super friendly and top notch. We had to take a taxi from the train station due to a mis-communication regarding which Guistiana station to arrive at. (There are 2 stations with the same name!) The swimming pool was incredibly beautiful! The scenery was as well, it was just so peaceful. We wish we had... More

The good reviews given this hotel by other travellers were not in evidence in a recent stay at this hotel on the outskirts of Rome. While very difficult to locate, the property is located in beautiful surroundings. However, the lack of attention to detail makes this hotel, at best, a 2 or 3 star property. For instance: 1. Our room's... More

Castello della Castelluccia is located near Rome, and surrounded by a park of more than 500 hectares. Several years ago the castle had been restored and visitors can marvel at its grandeur and beauty. Castle takes visitors all year round. The castle is now Castelluccia hotel with comfortable rooms, furnished with antique furniture. In the tower of the castle-hotel are... More

My family stayed one night at the Castello della Castelluccia in July 2011. This was part of our Italian holiday, and it was absolutely the best place we stayed on that trip. The hotel is situated in a quiet park a good bit outside of Rome. Everything was very rural and quiet, and one felt that one might have been... More

We (my wife and I) stayed 5 days/6 nights in early August after a cruise on the Mediterrainain Sea. We arrived with a rental car and had no plans to visit Rome, which we did on another trip. We wanted to visit the countryside little villages in Umbrie and Toscane. Front office manager Luca turned out to be an excellent... More

Really on the countryside with nice rooms and pool area. The staff and restaurant really needs development. Service was poor with attitude. Not possible to get for example a sandwich after lunch hours and in the evening. The bar was closed (open on the paper) so no possibitliy to sit outside and have a drink in the nice warm evenings.... Dear Mrs. Ulrika, I'm really sorry for your complaint. Sincerely it's the first time that somebody cannot have a sandwich, since we are used, especially in August, on request like this, beeing frequently asked from guests who stay by our swimming pool. Also, our bar is open from 3.00 pm to 11.00 pm and, if our bartender is not in... More

We were touring italy and one of our highlights was Rome.....before I arrived, I asked for a bottle of wine to be put in the room for my honeymoon. To my horror, without even being asked.....they had put a 50 pound bottle of wine in the room, my wife was worth it but I wasn't consulted. They ran a shuttle... More

Dear Sir, Thank you for your review, for which I hope you will appreciate an explanation. By our correspondence you asked, being a very special event, for a bottle of wine and flower in the room, leaving us the choice of the kind of wine. We thought that you'd have appreciate a good wine and not an ordinary one, thereby... More

We booked 2 rooms at this hotel on the last night on our way home from our Umbrian Italy trip chiefly because it was near to the airport for the following morning. We didn't check to much re the detail due to this but what a surprise. A real classy gem of a hotel. Lovely decor. Quality clean rooms. Friendly... More
