A good choice for a city break over a few days. Amenities not huge but clean modern with pleasant staff. The location is ok, 20 to 30 mins walk to centre of rome or to metro/bus station. €7 taxi to city centre. Rooms are clean tidy and modern. Bathroom was similar. Only issue we had was the beds are very... More

Our stay in this hotel was one of the worse experiences ever. They lacked customer service and hospitality. This hotel was so small that many of the residents and taxi drivers did not know that it existed. More

We stayed 3 nights at Hotel Lloyd, Rome. The hotel was very good value for money compared to the level of Rome hotels. Location is a bit far but still walkable to the historic centre. Also the metro station is about 5-10 mins walk which helps a lot. Hotel room was clean and nice with a good king size bed... More

It was a nice hotel. The rooms were not very big but this is not a problem as all the time we were outside. They were very clean. The breakfast was good and had a lot of things to choose. The area of the hotel is very good and safe. There are many good restaurants nearby were we ate almost every day. There are also many... We stayed in this hotel for three nights. In brief it is a simple, quiet hotel targeting mostly business travellers. We were more than satisfied with our stay there for the following reasons: 1) Very good value for money 2) Standard conventional rooms (warm and clean) 3) Satisfying simple breakfast 4) Among excellent/typical italian and more than reasonably priced trattorias,cafes,gelaterias,shops... We are back from a week end trip in rome and chose this hotel as it came at a very good deal (paid half of the advertised price on a last minute deal). The hotel is very clean, recently refurbished. the staff is nice too. The rooms are very comfortable and roomy, extra plus to the super-powerful shower, perfect for... More

If you do not mind walking a few extra blocks, this hotel is a good value. On weekdays, it seemed to be primarily a 'busineess' crowd. On the weekend, it was mostly European tourists. It was very quiet and it was just out of the tourist 'zone', so you really got the feeling that you were living with the locals... More

My husband and I visited four cities, and when we came back to Rome the day before returning to the US, we booked a room at the Hotel Lloyd. It was by far the best hotel room we stayed in during our whole trip. It was like the American hotels we are used to, but that is a good thing.... More

As with many Italian hotels, this hotel is very good. Stayed there for 3 nights Sep 2008. The location is quite convenient, about 15 minutes walk to the nearest Metro Station (Policlinico). Room was very clean, with good amenities. The staffs were quite 'cool' though, but probably it is because they tried to portray professionalism. Or probably just the Italian... More
