Wouldnt recommend to anyone too unfit though. (we didnt find the shortcut till the last day) Most of the staff... More

We booked a taxi through the Hotel from the Airport which cost us 50euros. I'm glad we did as this Hotel is based in a residential area which I believe a regular taxi would have trouble finding. Its location is about a 5 minute walk from San Pietro Station and a 10-15 minute walk from Vatican City. There are plenty... More

This hotel deserves 2.5 stars but no more. I'm going to start with the most important thing: location which is the reason why I chose to stay at this hotel. On the map the hotel appears to be very close to the Vatican, but it’s actually on top of a whiny hill walking down the road takes a lot longer... More

Dear Client, thank you for writing us. I would like to apologize for the troubles you had during your stay. About our location, as confirmed also from our clients on their reviews, we are about 15 minutes walking from the Vatican as Google Maps reports in its official Map. The air conditioning is working properly in the hotel, but we... More

Staff not willing to help with your needs. Uncaring and dishonest. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody. Also, location is not convenient. More

Dear Client, in your review you make a clear accuse at the staff of the Hotel Alessandrino saing that is dishonest. Well, before to write such a serious declaration, we would appreciate you to complain directly at our management bringing the prove of it.We find it very strange that you didn’t do it. I have to say again that I... More

The hotel is difficult to find. It's not close to a metro station but to a train station. It is on a kind of hill so you'll have to walk a little. If you get lost, how we did, you'll climbe some stairs with the suitcases in your hands. So better take a taxi. The staff is indifferent to your needs.... More

After browsing through a long list of hotels in Rome, I decided on staying here, as Alessandrino appeared to have the best price-quality ratio. And so it did. Although located on a pretty steep hill, it's closer to the center than many others in its price range. The Vatican is no more than 15 minutes away by foot. The rooms... More

My son & I stayed at this hotel as a base for exploring the sites of Rome. It was just minutes from The Vatican. Breakfast was continental, scrambled eggs, ham, rolls, bread, croissants, cereals etc. We had enough to keep us going until after lunchtime. Reception staff were helpful, telling us shortcuts, bus routes, getting taxis etc. The room &... More

We stayed there for only 2 nights but have nothing bad to say about the hotel. It is a 3 star hotel so you cannot really expect too much of luxury but was very nice and clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was cozy and had everything we needed even though the internet did not work... More

I loved staying at the Alessandrino Hotel. The front desk is staffed by accommodating and well-informed employees who are ready to help guests with directions, restaurant suggestions, etc. I needed to make contact with a Roman archaeologist, and Georgio made the phone call for me, negotiated the introductions (my Italian is not ready for a quick phone conversation), and later...
