I spent 3 days in a very comfortable home mobile, people at the reception gave me a lot of informations about Rome and the beach just in front was clean and quiet even if the temperature was too low for a bath

This place is a great money-saving European camping. It is not US camping so you need to be prepared to see tons of people around you at all times. Our camping in Rome, surrounded by the typical Mediterranean vegetation, is located along the seafront, facing a large admission free beach. The town of Ostia is 3 km away. Within a range of 10 km one can visit the Ancient Ostia excavations, the old Roman port and a splendid renaissance village with the Giulio II castle. Downtown Rome (25 km away from the camping) can be easily reached by bus+subway in less than one hour (total ticket € 1). At the reception you will find an Internet point, free security boxes, and a competent staff speaking good English, French, German and Spanish, ready to meet all your informative needs on how to stroll around in the Roman area. And also guided tours, summer parties, telephone, fax, free luggage store and much more.
