I was there for 3 days in May and the "french" room was great and I loved the breakfast on the terrace with the sun. The guys at the reception were sincere and friendly. The only thing I would say is that the price was a bit expensive but it s maybe normal for Rome. Hl

Enjoyed Hotel Columbia, a lovely small hotel, very central for seeing the sights.Very helpful staff, clean rooms, plenty of hot water, comfortable beds, and a good breakfast served outside on the pretty roof terrace when it is warm enough. All in all a good base for sight seeing and near the station.
