Hotel is a stylish and discreet, located in a quiet area, in an old building with lift, ideal for couples without children; rooms are absolutely ok, clean, clean bathrooms, there is a beautiful small garden where you can dine quietly, breakfast is served in a small room, but where you feel at home, the staff was impeccable; the reception is... Viminale is a nice cosy hotel located in center of Rome, close to Colosseo, 10-15 minutes from piazza Barberini and Spagna. Very nice gentle staff, always ready to help and answer all tourists' questions. You can have breakfast in the open air in summer. Hotel is absolutely not expensive. Unlike many other hotels in Rome it is a nice building... More

Front desk was very helpful, friendly, and came to know us after a few days into our trip. Room is spacious for a Europen hotel and had a nice balcony as well. Provided breakfast was sufficient. Staff was attentive. Shower door was a little tricky since it only went a couple of feet back and didn't seal well. Floor was... More

We stayed at the Viminale Hotel in Rome for a long weekend in April.I spent some considerable time reading reveiws on tripadvisor and other websites looking for a reasonably priced hotel of good quality. No point in spending wads of money, when you basically only sleep there. The hotel does have a retro feel about it,but it fits well with the... More

I took my mum for a weekend trip to Rome and stayed here between 13-16 April flying to Ciampino with Ryanair. We got into Rome using the Shuttle Bus recommended by Ryanair and it was great. The bus takes you right to the Termini bus/train station and cost less than 13 euro for two return tickets. It couldn't be easier... More

Hotel is situated about 10 minutes walk from the Termini, in a quiet street. The hotel was built in the early part of the 1900's and is a typical Italian building of that time it has beautiful tall rooms and has retained much of it's character. We travelled with our 11 year old daughter and stayed in a triple room.... More

The room is a typical hotel in Rome. It was clean, the beds are hard like everywhere else I have stayed in Europe. The front desk were very helpful and spoke great english, and since my Italian is bad, this was really helpful. They were knowledgable on local restaurants and directions to places.Breakfast was good but seating can be cramped... More

My Boyfriend and i recently stayed here for 2 nights. If you're looking for just a bed to sleep in and nothing more this is your hotel it's close to Termini easy to access most restaurants and has a good location all round. However don't go with out taking your hair dryer and iron! The hotel does not have an... More

Our stay at the Viminale Hotel was very pleasant. The hotel was located in the centre of Rome, but in a quiet and peacefull street (making sure we had a peacefull nights sleep). The rooms aren’t that modern, but that didn’t bother us at all. The bathrooms were very clean and had everything you needed. The staff from the hotel... More

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights in June 2012. It is walking distance from train station, but quicker to use a handheld gps as it cuts through pedestrian only areas. The lift only goes up to the 4th floor and we were on the 5th so dragged bags up the stairs and repeat this each time we... More
