Our travel agency booked this "good value" hotel in Rome. The hotel is the middle of nowhere. This hotel is ideal for group tourist since they have their own transportation. There is no metro station nearby and you have to walk awhile to the bus stop .
Unless you are an Italian, do not think it is "easy" to ride...

20 min walk from termini or 5 min by bus ( line 86 to termini, line 63 to via del corso and trastavera).
Clean, nica design. Good service.

Stayed here for three nights in December. The rooms were free for us so I can't say how I'd have felt if I'd paid for them. That aside, some comments: avoid the first floor. The street can be noisy. If you're very unlucky (we were) you'll be directly above the hotel's load-in area and, before dawn, you'll be woken by...

Dont go!Our room had a disgusting smell from the bathroom, the heat of the room was adjusted centrally, and it was so hot that we woke in the middle of the night, dripping in sweat. The breakfast was equally awful,in a hall on the basement, consisting 70% of tasteless sweets, burned bacon, plastic omellette made of egg powder, sour juice, green tomatoes(they were not ripe yet),one basket with...

Our 10 day packaged tour of Italy was scheduled to begin with 2 nights at the Albani Hotel. We booked 1 night before the tour, to settle in - getting a great rate through EasyJet with our flight from London to Rome. The tour operator changed the Rome hotel, but we decided to enjoy our bargain night in this lovely...

Had to wait 2 hours in the lobby before the room was ready, and every time I had to use the service of the reception 3 very well dressed gentlemen argued in 20 minutes on how to solve what always seemed to be a problem to them. Nice and spacey room though. A bit far walk to town center.

Although the hotel is not exactly centrally located, it didn't bother me as I like to walk and it takes roughly 20 minutes to walk to Via Veneto. It is located in a quiet residential street with good transport links. It costs around EUR60.00 to and from the airport with a taxi.
The rooms were relatively spacious and clean. I...

I traveled to Rome for the first time for a Spring Break Trip with some friends. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the staff (who's english was pretty well). The lobby was fantastic and beautiful. The bar and lounge area right off the lobby were great. It was a good place to wind down each night after a...

Our room was 229 in the new addition remodelled with modern metal-on-wood colour scheme (which will eventually replace pink/purple scheme elsewhere). Our bathroom was all done in red. The headboard was a large back-lit image of a waterfall. Room was small, but its weird shape made it feel like a suite with a separate foyer. “Double” bed was actually queen...
