The place itself is well located (Near Termini, Coilseum and other spots) and bedroom was very clean, but Roberta (the owner) wasn´t there when I arrived (a friend of hers gave me key), so no information about anything available. Roberta is very nice and gave some good tips, but it would´ve been better if she was there on the first... More

Location: On main road joining Termini and Colosseum Hotel: Small 5-6 room B&B, internet in lobby, breakfast served in the kitchen area Room: Big with 3 beds, facing main road, therefore a bit noisy, no ventilation in bathroom Positives: Close to Termini but far enough to appear residential; lift/elevator in building, great hostess, laundromat downstairs (very good customer service) Negatives:... It is a B&B so it is basically in the hostess' apartment, but the place is very clean and in a GREAT location in Rome. Two of my friends and I stayed for two nights and each morning there was a fantastic homemade breakfast waiting for us. The only downside was the sign for the building was very small and... More

Stayed a week. There are some inconveniences, as previous reviewers said. It's like staying in someone's apartment and one would require coordination with the hostess. The location is great. The sweet Italian breakfast baked by the hostess is memorable.

This is an unusual but homely Inn; unusual in that the reception is not always manned and getting access to the staff can be difficult, homely in that you feel free as if at home to come and go without any formality. The rooms are clean and te breakfast tasty. The location is excellent if a little hard to find... More

We booked here for two nights on arriving in Rome. The location is good (10 mins walk from Termini, and 10 mins on to Colosseum, Forum etc), but Chocolat Inn is hard to find: there is no sign outside as it is not a hotel, but lodging rooms in a B&B, behind an anonymous front door (that houses other businesses)... We spent 4 nights here, then again for another night on our return to Rome. We had the quad which was clean and provided adequate space for the 4 of us. ( including 10 and 13 year old kids in a bunk bed - which they really prefered over sharing a queen) We didn't spend much time in the room... More

We spent two nights here to see Rome. It was just a short walk from the station and a pleasant walk to main tourist sites. Colosseum was #1 on our list, and this place is only 10 mins walk there, so was perfect for us. Roberta gave us some excellent restaurant tips as she is quite a foodie - so... More

We stayed at this hotel for one night when we arrived from Paris. It is located close to the Colosseum and other locations. Roberta was great and made us feel very comfortable. If you want to stay in a clean and nice place, consider this hotel. The only downside is that you need to go up the stairs before you... More

My husband & I stayed here in June 2011. We booked through www.laterooms.com but actually booked at another bed & breakfast but when we arrived the lady told us that our room had to be given to someone else so she sent us to Chocolat Inn, which we actually are very pleased about because the other bed & breakfast wants...
