WE stayed in this hotel for our honeymoontrip tot Rome. The location is really downtown and very accessible by public transport, taxis or (preferably!) by foot. But be aware: all these lovely narrow streets are NOT easy to walk on on your high heels! So bring your stylish but comfy shoes.... I was surprised that despite the professional attitude the... More

We stayed here on our initial trip to Itlay in 05 and were concerned that this little gem could not replicate our fantastic experience....our concerns were without merit! If anything, our 6 day stay was more enjoyable as we were able to interact with the staff a bit more. Paolo and Simone were very helpful and kind. The rooms are... More

With only 12 rooms you are beeing taken care off in a personally way from the staff. And with only 2 minutes from Piazza de Fiori, you can start the tourist walk right ouside the door. Since there are some noise between the floors (steps, not voices), ask for the 3 rd floor. More

This was our first stop in Italy and we were not disappointed. This former theatre was quite charming. The price was reasonable, our room was clean and it was right around the corner from the Campo di Fiori (a wonderful piazza with many restaurants and a weekly marketplace). Paulo, one of the front desk people, was very kind and tremendously... More

Steeped in history and built on the remains of the ancient Roman Pompey's Theatre dating back to the year 55 BC, this small boutique hotel is tucked away in the heart of Rome's historical centre, just a few minutes walk away from, e.g. the Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, or the Campo de’ Fiori – with its square surrounded by many... My friend and I stayed here twice during our 2 1/2 week trip to Italy and loved it. Paolo and Simone gave us excellent directions and recommendations for places to eat. The rooms were clean and breakfast just right to get us going in the morning. I can't recommend the hotel enough! We were able to walk to all major... More

Delightful. Great location, huge rooms, delicious and enchanting breakfast. The staff was wonderful all around. Totally gay-friendly as well; my partner and I felt welcome the whole time. More

I had a wonderful stay in the Teatro Di Pompeo. When you arrive the reception is small (but clean and efficient) and so you don't know what to expect. However, the rooms are fantastic, spacious, clean and quiet. My room looked out onto a small courtyard and had air conditioning (but I didn't need it because of the windows). Breakfast... More

This hotel has few frills but is clean, super convenient with its downtown location, and the staff is great. The included breakfast is excellent and well stocked (fresh local hams, cheeses, eggs, etc). More
