A good middle class hotel with an excellent location. Good helpful staff, but somewhat badly organized. We did not get the rigt room in the first place. Changed room twice. Not a good start to a holiday.

Pleasant, helpful staff and a convenient location! You can easily walk to many of the major tourist draws and there are many very good and affordable restaurants nearby. Also, the Hotel Alexandra was less expensive than other options we considered.

The place is falling apart, the sales people misleading, and the rooms are tiny by European standards. There are better places to stay in Rome. We were quoted one price in the states, and then had to pay another price at the hotel. I felt scammed, and longed for the tranquility and people of Tuscany. I won't stay here again.
