Recently stayed here during a multi country trip. Not my first trip to Rome. Very hard to beat the location of the Residenza Maritti. The location is a couple blocks from the Colosseum with many great restaurants in easy walking vicinity. Kitchen was very well stocked/equiped. As mentioned in other reviews, the onsite manager was very helpful. Rooms were clean,... More

Where can I start ? I rented a car, have no idea where the parking lot is, the owner drove his own car to lead me to the parking lot, drove me back to the residence even when he is on a tight schedule with a meeting with his friend. We were 2 hours late from our scheduled key pick... More

We enthusiastically recommend staying at the Residenza Maritti, it is a very comfortable and warm Bed & Breakfast. Your host GianLuca is delightful, gracious and extremely helpful. The rooms are comfortable and the amenities (breakfast foods and access to a full kitchen) are excellent. If you enjoy walking the Residenza Maritti is the perfect location, we were able to walk... Residenza Maritti, is a home away from home!! The very welcoming host, Gianluca, made every effort to help us with making our stay in Rome special. Directions, transport arrangements, etc, everything is available at a phonecall to the host. Provisions for a breakfast, compared to a five-star hotel, a comfortable room, with self contained bathrooms, excellent maintenance, can only beckon... More

Staying at Residenza Maritti is a lot better than staying at an impersonal hotel. We were greeted by the owner, Gianlucca Maritti, who took the time to show us around the area, take us to the tourist office, and give us important tips. Besides, the location is perfect. You are steps away from the Colosseum and the Imperial Forum. San... More

We went on a family holiday to Rome in Late November and were recommended the Hotel Maritti by a friend living in Rome. It was a fantastic few days. The hotel was clean, welcoming and fantastic value for money. The location was incredible considering you are opposite the Forum. Gianluca was really helpful and we would definitely return to this... This is the perfect place if you want to walk around and see all of Rome. The rooms are very romantic and perfect for a great vacation. You have the opportunity to meet the other guests as you share a kitchen with them. Gianluca is the perfect host.

Residenza Maritti is not a hotel, it is a home. The owner and his family live here. They welcome you and make you feel this is your home as well. The furnishings are vintage and may make you feel you have stepped back in time a bit. The location is perfect as it is right on the back street of... More
