Recently spent two nights at Hotel Britannia in Rome. Our room was lovely (not huge but charming and preferable to a large unattractive room), the location is fabulous, and the bath/shower was the best we found in Italy - and it included a rubber ducky. The staff is helpful and friendly, the hotel is clean and very well-maintained, and I... More

This hotel is 4 star, but rooms are very small for the standards. But we knew about it before we even booked. For a small room, it was decorated appropriately and had decent amount of, space for our things. The bath was equipped with necessities(though I did not expect a tv to be hanging in the bath room corner) and... More

A small, beautiful hotel with good service. Its location is very good as it is close to the metro, and is in walking distance to many important sites. More

A very reasonably priced, four star hotel 15 minutes' walk from the historic centre of Rome. The staff are welcoming and helpful and the attention to detail, both in the communal areas and in the rooms, is impressive. The buffet breakfast is another strong point. In short, this is a hotel which wants to make its guests happy - not... More

The hotel staff were just lovely and very welcoming and the rooms were very nice! The bathroom had a solar lamp in it, which was cool :) Breakfast was delicious every morning (very nice pastries). Only complaint (and it didn't even bother us that much) was that there was only 3 english channels on the TV, with 2 of them... More

Stone throw to Termini and Repubblica Metro. Very welcoming foyer and entrance areas. Our room was very dated, musty and could really use update and paint - would make a massive difference. However, room was comfortable and clean. Buffet Breakfast is great. Staff are helpful when you require something but not outwardly friendly. Best of all is Simona. Her very... More

As you enter the hotel you receive a warm welcome by Simona who is polite, beautiful and very knowledgeable and makes you feel home immediately! All the staff is.. better than perfect!  As the hotel name suggests the decoration is very British, the rooms are small but they have everything, repeat *everything* you might want! Good breakfast with very friendly... More

Hotel Britannia is centerally located in Rome and very clean. Very good breakfast in the morning...wide variety. Carmen was wonderful. Mario was very accomodating and worked with us on transportation needs. These two people made the experience such that we will go back to this hotel on our next trip to Rome. More

The hotel was good.it was close to the metro stations as well as central to various sightseeing locations. We had a non-smoking room but the room smelled. i brought it to the notice of the manager but he said that perhaps someone has smoked in the room before. they could not change the room for me which wasn't really helpful....
