It is not about the location, those old stylish rooms, impeccable cleaning, or that breakfast.. it is about people who open their home to share it with you.. and you are just a passenger, merely mortal tourist for everybody else in Rome, but for them - you are a guest, a short term friend, a roommate. Or maybe not -... More

Our stay was everything that the reviews we read on TripAdvisor said it should be. Max and Daniella were perfect and bent over backwards for us. We missed our flight, lost our bag, and were generally pretty flustered when we arrived. They took it all in stride and helped us with everything they could. Max even waited at the airport... More

We cannot say enough good things about this charming bed and breakfast on the outskirts of Rome, just a short walk from buses and trains to the city centre. From the moment Max picked us up from the station, we knew we were going to have a great stay. We were welcomed like friends, and felt truly lucky to have... More

We spent four nights at Sapore di Casa based on the many positive reviews on Trip Advisor, and we weren't disappointed. Daniella and Max were delightful hosts, our room was extremely comfortable and meticulously clean and breakfast was delicious. It is only a 5-10 minute stroll to the train station or the bus stop to get into central Rome. Highly... More

Super clean charming and comfortable b and b in a quiet nontouristy area but with easy connections to the tourist areas. Max and Daniella go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at home in their charming flat. The thoughtful mini fridge in the hallway means that you can stock your favorite cold beverages and snacks for... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
The B&B SaporediCasa is located in the Balduina quarter, on the fourth floor of a residential block (there is a lift, no fear!), quite near St.Peter’s and the Vatican City. It is a quiet and safe area where any kind of shops and facilities are available. It is also well connected to the centre by metro, urban train and 5 bus lines: 5 minutes from metro A stop CIPRO 6 minutes from metro FM3 stop St.Peter’s, 10 minutes from the Vatican Museums, 15 minutes from St.Angel’s Castle, 20 minutes from Piazza Navona, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza di Spagna with the Spanish Steps. The Zodiaco panoramic terrace is nearby with one of the most beautiful views in Rome. Our B&B has 3 comfortable rooms and 1 bathroom for our guests. There’s a comfortable lounge/ dining room where we normally serve continental breakfast, but, on request, we can also prepare a real English one. Also we can serve dinner with typical Roman specialties cooked by your hosts, but you’ll have to give a 24 hours notice. The FM3 Balduina station is only 5 minutes away: this train will take you to St Peter’s, the Vatican City and Porta Portese flea market which is held every Sunday morning. 2 minutes only are needed to get to Viale Medaglie d’oro where is a taxi rank and 5 bus lines are available. The same FM3 train reaches Rome from Fiumicino (Leonardo da Vinci) airport. ... more   less
