The place, the convenient location close by the subway (fast and eacy way to move around Rome) and decor adn teh hospitality exceeded any expectations even those positive comments reported by Trip Advisors. We took teh Monet room, colorful, spacious ... very... More

My wife and I booked this B&B in Rome. I emailed early the morning to let them know what time I would be arriving so someone would be there. We got off the metro and walked down a graffiti filled alley to the hotel. The front door of the residential building was locked so I rang the hotel, and no... More

We are sorry that the guests did not feel well at our place, with special reference to the bed and the bad smell from the bathroom. We have never had complaints for uncomfortable beds, we are really surprised to hear this. However, not all the people in the world think the same way, there will always be someone you can't... More

When I was ready to depart, I found front door locked and the key did not work to open it! After an hour of trying and an email for help to owner (there is no house phone), I gave the handle a tug and the handle pulled off in my hand. I am not a strong women. After all this... More

Traveling first time to Rome- we realized that the location was not great. It's in residential area and not close to any restaurants or places to hang out at. We had to walk 25 min to get to Vatican museum. Not fun if you have to do it every day. My idea of bed and breakfast is actual breakfast and... More

A few days break with a friend. We were so close to the Vatican and the metro was on our door step so we bought the daily pass and zoomed around the whole city. Great restaurants nearby to finish off the day then quick and easy to arrive 'home'. Our room was comfortable, bright and cheerful, and the whole place... More

This hotel is actually an apartment in 8 store building and you live in a room and use kitchen and toilets together with other people. We had a balcony where you can sit and relax in the evening or have a meal. Rooms are not big, but very cozy, with stylish modern design. In the kitchen owners left everything we... More

A Casa di Alex is a 3-bedroom B&B just off the historic centre. If you are looking for something quieter and cozier than most central places in Rome, this is a safe bet. The building is 150m from metro station Baldo degli Ubaldi, line A, which will take you directly to Rome's central station (termini), the Vatican, Spanish Steps, etc.... More

I would describe this more as a short-term rental. It is a small flat on the eighth (and top) floor of an apartment building a few metro stops from the Vatican. There are three rooms but only two available for rental it seems. We were off season and had the flat to ourselves. Cinzia, the proprietress, stayed the first night... More
