Although this villa is a couple of k's from town, the space and relaxing atmosphere make up for the distance. We stayed in the 2 room apartment with 2 kids (10&8), plenty of space, decent sized shower and maid service was unobtrusive, yet proficient. 10 min walk to the Vatican and only 2 km to town. We walked to Rome... More

A great place to stay in Rome -peaceful, elegant and very helpful family. We made the mistake of getting a bus on our arrival. It would be much quicker and easier if we took a texi for 30 euro. We enjoyed the wonderful breakfast and the proximity to St. Peters Square. We intend to go back! More

This is a great place if you want to escape central Rome. It's about a 25 minute walk (downhill) to all the historic sites and a bit of a huff and puff to get back up the hill, but well worth it! The candlelit terrace outside the rooms is a great place for a glass of wine before heading to... More

I chose this place at last moment, made a reservation from the airport by phone. The owner was very nice on the phone and in person. Very friendly and helpful! he gives recommendations, solves different issues etc. Overall the staff was nice. We rented an apartment and had two bedrooms and common area - a lot of space for Rome.... Wonderfully peaceful hideaway from the chaos of the city. Incredibly well located a 10 min walk from St. Peter's. Quite nice rooms with tasteful decors and nice linens. Good breakfasts and extremely helpful and attentive staff. We enjoyed our stay here immensely. More

this is a fantastic hotel - small, only 5 rooms - you are in a villa in the middle of the city. The owners are extremely attentive but let you feel at ease. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful. The room was beautiful and extremely comfortable. The location: 600 m from St Peter's. The taxi to almost any central location... More

My fiance and I stayed here for 3 fantastic nights in September and really genuinely loved every minute. Admittedly the lack of pavement for 200 yards outside the property was a little daunting initially however we soon got used to it and it was completely safe to walk. Sante spoke great english and was always super helpful, allowing us to... More

My husband and I spent three nights here and we cannot recommend this haven in Rome more highly for quality, service and location. Service: We felt welcomed but not over-watched. Our host spent time ensuring that we got the best from the city showing various walks which we could do and advising us how to miss the two hour queue... More

We absolutely loved this villa. It was quiet for relaxation when we wanted it, but only a 10 minute walk (max) to Vatican City or the Trastevere area of Roma. Clean rooms, clean private bathrooms, and pretty comfortable beds! We actually did their honeymoon or romance package as we were traveling through some of Europe on our Honeymoon! Their was... More

We had a great stay at this hotel in June 2011. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment which was really perfect for our family of 4(2 adults. 2 boys ages 9 and11.) The villa is comfortable, pretty and well located. I would definitely recommend this hidden gem of a hotel. More
