The BB Cicerone , 28 is a BB very organized and welcoming, nice bathroom too, with delicious breackfast coffee in the room and the owner very helpful! Furthermore it is close to everything, from Castel, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon ...Thanks Michelle! More

The room was stinking with stange smell. The location is excellent. Service was nice. The room was clean and breakfast was poor. More

We've stayed for three weeks and it we had the most pleasant time in this hotel. Excellent service, excellent facilities, it's well connected, buses, subway, within walking distance of the Vatican. The staff is warm and welcoming, it's like being home. I highly recommend it. More

Positives are location, spacious room, well appointed, faced quiet interior courtyard. The major negative and reason I can't recommend this B&B was a terrible smell in the bathroom, possibly an issue with the drains/sewer, but made the trip to the bathroom dreadful. We kept the window open, which helped a little. Unlike other guests, we were in room 6 which... More

My wife and I just returned from Italy this week from our honeymoon. We arrived at Cicerone 28 on Aug 19th. Michelle greeted us and immediately told us that we had to stay at their sister B&B because the bathroom wasnt working. I was very skeptical about this because it seemed pretty ironic that it happened the day we arrived... More

Do NOT believe the website which specifically states that all the rooms have en suite bathrooms on the 'Rates' page. It is simply not true! We stayed in Room 4 for three nights. When we got there, we realized that we didn't have a bathroom in our room. We didn't bother to unpack and waited for Michelle to arrive. She... More

Michelle who runs this place was fantastic, spoke fluent English (a rare thing, at least in our experience) and went extra length to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Besides Rome, we had stayed in Venice and Florence and have not been that lucky with our other hosts. They either spoke almost no English, or were very indifferent/rude. The... More

I travelled with my adult daughter to Rome for the first time. Through Trip Advisor we found B&B Cicerone 28, and how grateful I am for that. The entrance hall was just amazing, through a very large wooden door and a lovely old-fashioned lift. The location was perfect in every way... safe, near buses, metro and restaurants and very quiet... More

I spend some days in Rome at Easter time with my gf, and i found a perfect place in B&B Cicerone. The position is suitable for reaching all the most important monuments in the very downtown, and the owner, Michelle, made the B&B our home. I really suggest it to anyone who desires a relaxing time in the most beautiful... More

I stayed here with my two Teens and Wife over Christmas. We stayed in a quad room that had a queen sized bed for us and 2 singles for the teens. Our room had a decent sized bathroom. My Partents stayed in a double next door that included a bath that was Huge by European standards. The room was nice,... More
