My husband and I stayed here in May 2011 for 4 nights. Overall our experience was fine. The noise level (tvs!) was intense in the evening though, until around midnight. Even with earplugs I could not drown out the sound. We ended up watching the program "Wipeout" (dubbed over in Italian) to try keep sane until the neighbours hushed down.... More

My wife & I visited Greece & Italy June/July 2011 and the last 4 days were spent in Rome prior to our return to Australia. We pre-booked the B&B Alla Cupola accomodation from Australia as this was our last leg of our 5 week journey. It was here we first met our hosts Sergio & his wife after having driven... More

The B&B is not the type you usually see in the States. It's a two-bed apartment. The room we stayed in was very spacious (especially by European lodging standards) and A/C worked great! The wireless internet was FAST!! And the breakfast exceeded my expectations. Although there was no hot food, the variety of fruit, breads, pastries, cookies, juices, dairy products... More

The owner Sergio had a map and helped us with Rome's busses. The hotel is a little bit out of tourist area, but not far and easy 2-4 stops away on several bus lines. It is also close to the Vatican on the ST Peter's Cathedral side, not the museum side. Grab a cheap delicios lunch at Pizza Pollo around... More

For the price, this has got to be as good as it gets. Excellent location, just a few minutes walk from the Vatican, excellent hosts in Caterina and Sergio, and really nice rooms, amenities and service. All of Rome's central sites are within walking distance (if you are up to it), with the more distant sights, such as the Colosseum,... More

Quiet BB in a perfect location (less than 10 mins. to St. Peter`s). Rooms very clean, very friendly and helpful staff (owners). Definitely a way better option than staying in a hotel of the same price range situated in the outskirts of Rome. Very good value for money. More

This was a great start to our trip through Italy on a budget. The B&B was within a residential building, with very clean beds, AIR conditioning that really worked, and a great live-in owner that provided great advice. The owner sat us down and helped us plan the things we wanted to see, what times go to and how to... More

The volcanic ash cloud actually prevented our stay. I cannot comment on the B&B itself, but I can comment on Sergio and Caterina. Before our visit, they were great in providing information and arranging transfers. After our first flight was cancelled and I was scrambling to salvage our trip and cruise, they were wonderful in assisting with alternate accommodations -... More

Was recommended by friend who stayed there a few months earlier. I would extend the recommendation. The accomodations and the convenience to St. Peters was great. Hosts are so nice and knowledgable. More
