I enjoyed my stay at the hostel very much. I travelled alone on this trip, my first time to Spain. I felt very safe and all my basic needs were met. The rooms are cleaned daily. Starbucks and restaurants close by, grande via is a 30 sec walk and I had a great stay. I would stay here again. The... More

Horrible place! When I arrived, I was told that I would not get the room I had booked, because another guest wanted to extend their stay. The first room had 40x40cm window close to ceiling. When I travel, I often have to work with my laptop in my room. I left a note outside that the room didn't need cleaning, in... More

One of the best hostels that I've stayed at. The hostel was on the 4th floor of an apartment block. The rate was good for a single room. Location was great, next to the major shopping areas and Gran Via. Staffs (an old couple) were super friendly. They even offered to do my laundry for free! Wifi and towel were... More

This hostel is fantastic and for such a bargain. Centrally located, my wife and I barely had to use public transit. A family run hostel, they cleaned our rooms everyday and even provided fresh towels. And for the price, it's incomparable. My wife and I paid for a double room, stayed five nights, and paid only €170. We couldn't believe... More

It was our first time to stay in a Hostal. We didn't know what to expect but decided to go with the flow. Great price (130 euro for 3 nights). Felt like staying in my Grannies! Right in the best location in town.

I had a lovely stay at this hostal. The staff was very friendly and great. This is a family run place, the older couple do not understand English and I do not speak Spanish. It was difficult but it was manageable. Their daughter was there most of the time and she understand english. They keep their place very clean and... More

We stayed in Madrid for 3 nights. The hostal was a little bit hard to find since there is no big sign. The staff, Maria was very friendly and helpful. She provided us maps and information for attractions in Madrid without us asking. The room was clean and roomy. The bathroom was very clean as well, but the one we... More

This hostal is a lovely family-run place with decent bathrooms and a great location. The rooms are very bright and have lovely balconies over a (somewhat noisy) pedestrian street. We stayed for 5 nights and had a great time!

This place lived up to everything I was expecting... good, clean, comfortable, friendly accommodation in an excellent area of Madrid. We had a delightful room with a little balcony overlooking Fuencarral Street and a small ensuite bathroom. Having just read the previous reviews by CKcapetown and Alba22, there's little more I can add, except to say that I completely agree... More
