We have stayed at the Hotal Astur on numerous occasions over the past few years. From the building entrance hall, 1920's lift, the bedroom furniture, it is old fashioned - but that's the charm. This small hostal is family run and they offer a friendly personal service. They do not speak much English but do their best to be helpful....

Interesting, old fashioned, family run. Friendly family. Spotless rooms with an interesting mock antique decor in keeping with the old architecture. Nice in the day to sit overlooking the Gran Via.
