Stayed in the Patio for 3 nights in November, and had such a great time! It's quiet yet central, and decorated to make you feel at home. Liz has the wonderful ability to think for you and understands what you need away from home, this comes through both in decorations and the advice she gives on what to see and... More

We loved The Patio! One, it's adorable, and Liz and Tony are wonderful hosts. Liz was a wealth of information, and recommended sites to see as well as restaurants for lunch and dinner. We woke to a bowl of fresh fruit and coffee every morning, along with cereal and toast. Everything was spacious, clean, and very homey. The Patio is... More

I picked this place from the reviews online...and I say with great enthusiasm...The Patio lived up to its wonderful reputation. I stayed here with my 20 year old daughter and a girlfriend. We occupied both rooms, which meant we had the place to ourselves. It is furnished with antiques and everything in the rooms from decor to window trim have... More

I’d like to start by saying how delightful it was to be greeted at the Barcelona airport by a nice man holding a sign with our name on it, sent for us by Liz and Toni of The Patio. My daughter and I stayed at The Patio for 4 nights and were completely enthralled. It was a bit like staying... More

I stayed here during October half term with my two sons, one of whom was attending Spanish languages class in the morning at a school nearby. We occupied both rooms , which meant the bathroom and dining/ seating area was for our exclusive use. The rooms were very comfortable and quiet and the whole flat very clean. Breakfast was laid... Close to everything but located in a great local neighborhood where you can find just about anything. Metro stop 1/2 block and close to bus lines. Owners extremely helpful especially if this is your first time in Barcelona. Rooms are beautiful, quiet and secluded in a great setting. Highly recommend. More

After spending 7 weeks in Spain and Italy I think that this little B & B was very accurately priced, especially for such a popular city as Barcelona. I researched B & B's in Barcelona thoroughly before we booked The Patio and we were at no time disappointed in our choice of accommodation. As this B & B only has... More

Liz and Tony are a lovely couple and they do try to help their guests have a pleasant stay. I only stayed 2 nights, but Liz was full of tips on where to eat for a reasonable price. In particular, she took me to a local, authentic, diner-type place where the owner/staff did not speak much English, and I was... More

Excelent B&B in the very heart of Barcelona! I spent a few days some weeks ago, during the 'Festa Major de la Mercè', and everything was perfect!! 100% recomandable. Tony and Liz, the owners, were so charming that made me feel at home. Don't hesitate - go discover Barcelona staying in a lovely and wonderful B&B!! More
