Staff were very helpful and friendly, apartment was stylish, compact and had everything you'd want. Location is excellent, with a short enjoyable walk through the lively Born district to get to the metro station, Picasso Museum and any number of restaurants and shops.

We went for the weekend for my birthday, arriving late due to airport strikes, that didnt matter, we were met by Victoria and Natalia, the lovely sisters that run the place. Although it was past their working hours, they still waited for us. We were shown up to the 4th floor and into room 43. The room was HUGE!! Massive,... More

Booked from Friendly Rentals and after a lot of comparisons decided upon these apartments. The rental people gave us the codes for entry after a call from the airport and we found it no problem. It's in a great location near to the station ( but the trains were on strike the day we arrived!) yes there is a whiff... More

The apartment I was given was at the top floor. Quite big and well equipped. On one day the from the toilet was coming out a strong smell of sewer. Apparently in certain days you cannot avoid it. The funny thing is that on apartement 43, the mattress does not fit in the bedframe (the mattress is bigger than the... More

After being put in the horrible borne apartments we were rehoused in the Decimononico Apartments. In comparison to what we had just been offered they were luxury. The apartments are on a nice street, which is very rustic in it's feel - however also very safe. The actual apartments are airy, cool and the living room is full of original... More

Just spent a short break in Barcelona at Decimononico Apts. There were 7 of us all ladies(!) We booked - through an internet booking agent - two 2 room apartments. (Expecting a twin bedroom and twin sofa beds in each apartment.) However, when I e-mailed the apartments directly a few days in advance to inform them of our expected arrival... More

Let's get a couple of things straight from the start. Firstly this is not the Ritz, but then again if you want the Ritz you won't be looking for an apartment. Secondly you won't be able to park by the door (despite what your satnav may tell you!) as it's all naroow pedestrian alleys. There is however an underground carpark... More

I'm not entirely convinced that what ruined our long weekend easter break was anything to do with Decimononico, more the fault of HOTELS [...]. We had booked well in advance, early Feb and had confirmation that it had been accepted. The apartments were chic and situated at the south end of the Gothic area, surrounded by small intermate cafes and... More

We have stayed in these apartments for a total of four nights ( 2 adults, 2 children aged 11 , 9 ).For anyone with kids they are set in an ideal part of Barcelona near to the sea front, 2 mins walk to the zoo and no more than 10 mins to the busy shop area of The Ramblas. The... More
