If you like to walk, like we do, and experience the local vibe, then this hotel should be on your list. It is 5 minutes from Sagrada Familia and maybe 10 min from Casa Milà and Casa Batlló. The hotel is located in a very good area but the worst part is that the receptionists try to fool people, together with the taxi drivers, for example they charged us 50 euros to the airport , 10 euros just because it was Sunday,. “April 3-5, 2013 Stay”

The location of the hotel was perfect for what we wanted..near the cathedral. Not convenient to Las Ramblas. Clean hotel, beds are very hard. Front desk spoke English and was very helpful. We were able to walk to some good local restaurants for tapas and paella that the hotel recommended.

The location of the hotel is just outside the center of Barcelona in a residential area, only 10 minutes walk to la Sagrada Familia and 20 to 25 minutes walk to the city center.
