a little bit hard to find at first, but once you locate it you'll see how close it is to las ramblas. was asked to pay whole amount up front, a bit unusual but that's their policy. wifi was a bit inconsistant. other wise the room was very clean, tidy and compfy. will definitely book it again when in barcelona. This was my 4th time at Hotel Principal. Excellent location just a few minutes walk from Las Ramblas. The family room was huge. Neat & clean hotel with excellent staff and a decent breakfast. Access to the hotel at night may be a little shady but quite safe. Within close proximity to the underground and also several bus stops. More
