We spent one night recently (end of April, 2013) in the Parado de Leon. It was lovely! Amazing architecture, wonderfully helpful staff and a breakfast to die for! This was our reward after a rainy, snowy, muddy, windy and gritty Camino Frances walk. This was a splurge for us and simply put, it was worth it.

The exterior makes you think you're entering a palace, but within 5 minutes i was disappointed. The hotel is not what you think it is.
